The Costa Verde (Green Coast), south of Rio de Janeiro, offers SUP-ers the perfect beach paddling getaway. We spend 3 days paddling tropical islands, mangrove forests and deserted beaches checking out marine life on the way. On this lodge based trip we spend one night in the colonial town of Paraty and two nights in the remote Mamangua tropical fjord.
The exact SUP-ing route taken will vary depending on local weather conditions. We paddle for approximately 3 to 4 hours per day, with plenty of time for relaxation and other activities like hiking, swimming, snorkelling and observing the local flora and fauna of the Atlantic Rainforest.
We use a support boat to transport us to the best locations along the route…and for tired paddlers at the end of the day!
This leisurely paddling trip is suitable for beginners and intermediate level paddlers
