Cruise Ship - Paraty Shore Excursions

Paraty Shore Excursions
_ Stay away from the crowds on our small group shore excursions!
The key to the cruise ship days in Paraty is to take you to great places and avoid the crowds. Not always easy as the town can be invaded by 000’s of visitors but we do a great job!
Check out our rave reviews on cruise critic.
Our Paraty Shore Excursion is an active day out suitable for all age groups and fitness levels showing you the rich variety and highlights of Paraty. It is also a great contrast to the other shore excursions in the other ports of Santos, Ilha Grande, Buzios and Rio.
And finally, it works in any weather!
Rainforest Waterfall and Old Town Tour by Jeep
After taking a jeep up into the hills behind Paraty we then walk through the Atlantic Rainforest on the historic Gold Trail, the paved road built by African slaves to bring gold out of the Brazilian interior. At the end of the walk there is time to take a refreshing swim in natural pools formed by the waterfalls. Before lunch we visit a cachaça distillery to sample the local rum that is still made the traditional way. For lunch we stop at a delightful local restaurant serving typical Brazilian dishes. Afterwards we head back towards Paraty for a short tour of the colonial old town.
