Hiking and Kayaking around the Juatinga peninsular, one of the most remote and beautiful coastlines in the state of Rio, is the best way to experience the local Caiçara culture. On the way you will meet the Caiçaras, people from the local fishing villages, experiencing their way of life before finishing up at Brazil’s only tropical fjord for some outstanding views of the whole region.

Brazil Kayak Adventure (6 Days/ 5 Nights)

Spend five days kayaking the warm waters of Brazil's only tropical fjord, across naturally protected bays, and through mangroves with stops at islands and beaches before finishing up in the colonial town of Paraty.

  • Paddling through mangrove teeming with wildlife.
  • The Caiçara culture of the local fishing communities.

The exact kayaking route taken will vary depending on local weather conditions. We paddle for approximately three to four hours per day, with plenty of time for relaxation and other activities like hiking, swimming, snorkeling and observing the local flora and fauna of the Atlantic Rainforest.
